Better-Than-Store-Bought Battered Fish
  1. Melt coconut oil in your pan (we used a cast iron one).
  2. Mix the flours, salt, and spices in a large bowl.
  3. Dip fish pieces into the mixture to coat evenly. Do not worry about patting dry the fish, as the moisture serves to bind the flours to the fish.
  4. When the oil begins to shimmer, place a few pieces of fish into the pan, making sure there is no crowding. Fry for a few minutes till browned and crispy on the bottom, then flip and cook the other side for a few minutes till the same.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool, then repeat steps 3 & 4 till all your fish is cooked. Let cool & serve with organic lemon wedges on the side.
